Acting as ascending carrier, it is mainly used for detecting upper atmosphere feature(temperature, humidity and air pressure). It carry radiosondes highly into the atmosphere to gather essential upper air data, then send back these data to groud receiving instrument. Then weather station staff can forecast weather according to these data.
