General Information: In the course of the past two decades Turkey has established itself as the leading production capacity in the European fashion industry. At the same time the Turkish industry is in a major transition and is relying more and more heavily upon the development and marketing of its own brands that are developed with Turkish and international designers. With twelve million inhabitants, the city between the Orient and the Occident inspires the industry with its fascinating mixture of cultures, and has always been considered to be a major trade centre for Europe and the Middle East. Thus CPI is filling an overdue gap for fashion. cpi is being held simultaneously with IFW - Istanbul Fashion Week. Numerous renowned domestic and international brands and designers presented themselves at the cpi premiere. Visitors came to both events from over 20 countries. cpi is being a fashion hub for East & West and also North & South
