Physical and chemical property:Colorless oil-like inflammable liquid boiling point 188centigrade (decomposition). Hardening point-26.8centigrade , density(20/4centigrade )1.3322, flash point 83centigrade ,soluble in aether, acetone, aromatic hydrocarbon, slightly soluble in carbon bisulfide, aliphatic hydrocarbon, and water.
Usage:Dimethyl Sulfate is used to make dimethyl sulphoxide, coffeinum, codeine. Vanillin, aminopyrine, trimethoprim, acephate and other pesticides.
