A huge market in China

The excellent seismic behaviour of wooden house has been proved in the two earthquakes, which happened in Wenchuan Sichuan Province and Yushu Qinghai Province. Many buidings were collapsed in the earthquakes only a few wooden houses survived. Therefore, it is popular among people for its advantages of health, environmental protection, energy-saving , sound insulation and heat insulation.

The amount of the wooden house is fastly increased with a speed of 20% annually. Some professionals indicates that China will increase a construction area of 30 billion square meters in the next 15 years. It means that the wooden structure has a huge potential market in China.

However, there are only 200 wooden house manufacturing companies in China. So many international organizations, such as Canada Wood Industry Association, Europe Wood Industry Association , American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA), all make their steps into this market. And Many suppliers from Canada, Russia, Japan, America, Finland, Germany, Sweden also come to open up this huge market in China.

Wooden House Guangzhou 2010 Review                         

Wooden House Guangzhou 2010 totally attracted 88 exhibitors, with 200 booths and 6,000-square-meter. The last two successful fairs make it one of the best exhibitions in Chinese wooden house industry.
