Introducing UPA's Cove Cornice, made with a gypsum based plaster core covered by an ivory coloured paper-face. The cornice compliments plasterboard / drywall constructions in both residential and commercial applications and by eliminating the need to finish the joint where a wall and ceiling meet and is also an attractive way to conceal wiring. The Cove Cornice is designed to give a clean continuous line at the junction of walls and ceilings and can be used with confidence on both plasterboard/drywall lining and cement walls alike.
UPA Cove Cornice is available in 55mm, 75mm and 90mm profiles with a choice of either 3.6m or 4.8m lengths. These cornices have been used for more than 40 years in Australia and are the most popular choice among plasterers.
Application
UPA Cove Cornices are best installed using the UPA Cornice Adhesive 45 (Cornice Cement).
The cornice profiles are easily cut to size using a fine tooth saw and can be installed using a few specialty tools.
Advantages
Our Cove Cornices have the advantage of being lightweight and easier to cut and install than timber or metal based cornices or crown moldings. They are also more effective to install than current systems of straight settings between a wall and ceiling. When compared with other molding types such as timber or metal, the UPA Cove Cornice is available at a fraction of the price.
