UCPSA98 is a light yellow aromatically modified C5 aliphatic hydrocarbon resin with a unique combination of light color designed for pressure sensitive adhesive with the following characters:

1. Good character for rolling ball test.

2. Low melt viscosity and Excellent heat stability.


3. Excellent balance of tack, peel and cohesive strength.

4. Broad compatibility with numerous SIS, SBS, SEBS etc. and other tackifying resins.

2. Color (Gardner in 50% toluene): 5.0 max

3. Softening Point (Centigrade, Ball): 96-99

4. Ash Content (wt. %): 0.05 max

5. Acid Value (mg KOH/g): 0.10 max

6. Cloud Point (1:1:1 resin/EVA/wax, Centigrade): 95 max

7. Melt Viscosity (200 Deg C, cps): 160 max

8. Flash Point (Deg C): 260 min

9. Heat Resistance (200 Centigrade 3h Gardner): 7

10. Specific Gravity (20/20 Centigrade): 0.97
