2840/2843W-Epoxy resin impregnated Fiberglass banding tape
2840/2843W banding tape consist of parallel twisted E-Glass yarns preimpregnated with a special thermosetting epoxy resin, it is pliable and tacky, web structure provides easy unwind without glass trands separation and overlapping.
Characters and Applications:
ClassF (155 degree) insulating material, high trength, high resistance to shocks, high modulus of elasticity, dimensional stability. Widely used as ideal banding materials for electrical motors, transformers and lightning arresters.
Thickness: 0.17mm; 0.30mm
volatile content: ≤4%
loss of weight at calcinations: 27% ± 2%
tensile strength before curing: ≥ 1000N/cm
Maximum pull while banding: 800N/cm
soluble resin content :≥ 90%
