Specific optical rotation : between +43¢ª and +47¢ª. (1% solution in 1,4 Dioxan)

Loss on drying ; not more than 0.5%      

Sulphated ash :not more than 0.1%

Assay (on dried basis) not less than 97.0% and Not more than 103.0% of C21H32O .
