Saffron is classified to three classifications based on length of red part of saffron filament (at what level the saffron filament be cutted).
For example if you do not cut filaments at all or a little (the tips are red and the bottoms, yellowish) this will be the Bunch class or by cutting at shown levels, Pushal or Sargol classes are given (Please see the picture on right).
It is notable that Pushal class occupies space two times more than Sargol class and it needs bigger dishes and this matter affects air freight charges
