We take this opportunity to introduce ourselves as one of the leading rice exporters in Vietnam and have much pleasure to offer you Vietnamese Rice with the terms and conditions as stipulated hereunder:

1- Commodity : Vietnamese Long Grain White Rice
2- Specifications:
Brokens : 5% 10% 15% max
Foreign matters : 0.1% 0.2% 0.2% max
Chalky kernel : 6% 7% 7% max
Red streaked kernel : 2% 2% 5% max
Yellow kernel : 0.5% 1% 1.25% max
Damaged kernel : 1% 1.25% 1.5% max
Immature kernel : 0.2% 0.2% 0.3% max
Paddy grains : 15 20 25 grains max/kg
Moisture : 14.5% 14.5% 14.5% max
Crop : 2003/2004
3- Quantity: 300,000 MT +/5% at Sellers option (About two or three shipments)
4- Packing: Rice to be packed in new single PP bags of 50kgs net each in average.
5- Shipment: In April, 2004
Loading will be started about 15 Days after receipt of workable L/C

6- Price:
- USD 220/MT net for rice 5% broken USD 211/MT net for rice 15% broken
- USD 214/MT net for rice 10% broken
FOB SAIGON PORT VIETNAM (incoterms 2000 to be applied)

7- Payment: By irrevocable L/C, confirmed/issued by a first class bank, acceptable
by the Seller and payable at sight by T.T.R
8- Validity: This offer is valid for one week from the signing date.
