The international company for castings and fittings:
INFIT is an Egyptian â€“ German joint venture Co. to produce pipe fittings & small jobbing castings.
INFIT fittings are made from malleable cast iron acc. to ISO 9001 certified by TUV Cert.
INFIT guarantees its fittings against manufacturing defects.
German experts with the Egyptian staff control & direct the production and quality in all production steps, starting from raw material inspection and passing by manufacturing process up till packing.
INFIT scope of activities:
- Production of malleable C.I.fittings.
- Cast iron job casting.
- Cast iron annealing.
- Hot dip galvanization of casting & pipe fittings.
- Machining.
Fittings production with trade name INFIT According to ISO 49 & EN 10242-CLASS A
Casting:
- Fittings are made from malleable cast iron acc. to EN 1562 B 550-10.
- Analysis for all molten metal before casting by spectrolab.
- Castings are produced in automatic forming lines to guarantee efficiency & quality.
Hot dip zinc galvanization:
Galvanization protects the fittings againest rust
- Fittings galvanization acc. to EN 10242
- The zinc coat is free from poison.
- The zinc used for galvanization is checked and controlled by spectrolab.
- The average zinc layer thickness is about 70 micro mm.
Machining
Threading & turning are made acc. to ISO 7-1 & ISO 228-1 and threads are controlled acc. to ISO 7-2 & ISO 228-2
Hydrualic Test:
100% of all pressure containing fittings are tested with hydraulic leakage test under 6 bar compressed air (equivlant to 20 bar hydr.).
Varnishing:
Varnishing is a limited protection against rust:
And acc. to EN & ISO standards the varnishing is free from aromatic hydro carbons.
INFIT fittings can therefore be installed in drinking water P.l. without any harm for the health of the customer.
Packing:
INFIT fittings are packed in plastic bags up till 1 and bigger sizes without plastic bags and after that packed in carton boxes.
Green & Black carton for black fittings, Red & Black cartons for galvanized fittings
Stickers are used to notify the kind and size of the enclosure â€“ each carton is stamped with packing date.
INFIT unions: Type U 1 (330)
Can be easly dismantaled without un-fixing the pipe lines.
Unions delivered assembled, gaskets should be used between the two union parts.
INFIT Produces pipe fittings under the a.m. standards with trade name WOESTE for export to Europe.
Public Health:
It is clear from galvanization practice & varnishing practice and all our manufacturing processes that INFIT restrict tightly with the international standerds in this field.
