Recent medical research has shown that butter is better for you than margarine because it contains low levels of "Trans" fats, which are now regarded as the worst fats, (whereas margarine contains high levels of trans fats).

The unique part about our cookies recipe is that it is 'eggless' with minimal use of brown sugar and In keeping with our philosophy to re-create the tastes and textures of country biscuits we ensure that only the freshest, purest, natural ingredients are used, is free of artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. This means that we use butter as the only shortening. no artificial preservatives, thus making the cookies edible for vegetarians or those who have dietary requirements.
