A very good insemination hygiene are indispensable for the success of artificial insemination. The sterilized catheter with its individual wrapping and lubricated catheter tip offers a very good solution to these requirements. The single wrapped catheter is introduced about 5cm into the vagina of the sow before the catheter itself is pushed through the plastic liner and inserted into the cervix. This procedure reduces significantly the introduction of dirty and bacteria into the vagina and the uterus.
