The checker bricks are mainly used in hot blast furnace. When hot blast is below 900℃, chequer bricks are use of clay refractory brick; if the temperature for the hot blast is above 900℃, Chequer bricks is use of high alumina brick, mullite brick, silicon brick and etc.

Checker bricks for hot blast furnace have high density for good thermal conductivity, high density for good thermal conductivity, high refractoriness under load, high trydimite concern, low true density, low thermal expansion, low creep, low residual quartz, accurate size and pure color made the good outlook.

Checker bricks are packed on wooden pallet and then polyethylene film is placed over it; finally the package is tied up with steel strips.

Checker brick’s minimum order is 20 t.
