Company Profile Nutriagaves de M?xico S.A. de C.V. is a company specialized in the production, elaboration and commercialization of Blue Agave syrup and soluble fiber which contains in a natural form of Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) and inulin, both with organic product certification. Our production plant and fields are located in mid west Mexico, 120 Km southeast of Guadalajara, in the Ayotl?n region, where the best Blue Agave is grown. Our agaves are grown with organic cultivation techniques, with the best selection and care of our farmers and Jimadores (specialized harvester that selects the best agaves). The agave syrup is commercialized under the Dulsweet? brand and the soluble fiber under the Olifructine? brand. OLIFRUCTINE-SP ? is a soluble fiber that is obtained from the Blue agave ?pi?a? (the pineapple-shaped heart of the agave plant) of the Weber Tequilana variety. This juice is constituted in a natural way, by a mix of non digestible agave fructans that are technically known as Fructooligosaccharides (FOS), with short Chains (FOS, short units of 2-10) and long chains (INULIN, fructose units of 11-60). OLIFRUCTINE-SP ? is a dietary fiber that stimulates the growth of intestinal flora as an active agent of prebiotic type, with bifidogenic effects. It also acts as a protective agent of the large intestine, preventing colon cancer and aiding in the abortion of calcium in the bones. OLIFRUCTINE-SP ? is a fine light beige powder, slightly sweet, crud free. Adds nutritional and technical benefits to a great variety of beverages and food products. Product SpecificationsAgave nectar (also called agave syrup) is a sweetener commercially produced in Mexico from several species of agave, including the Blue Agave (Agave tequilana). Agave nectar is sweeter than honey, though less viscous.
Agave nectar is produced in the Mexican States of Jalisco, Michoac?n, Guanajuato and Tamaulipas. According to Mexican laws pertaining to certificate of origin; most is produced in Jalisco.
Agave nectar is 1.4 to 1.6 times sweeter than sugar. Agave nectar is often substituted for sugar or honey in recipes. Vegans in particular commonly use agave nectar to replace honey in recipes. It is also used as a sweetener for cold beverages such as iced tea because it can dissolve quickly.

Agave nectars are sold in light, amber, dark, and raw varieties. Light agave nectar has a mild, almost neutral flavor, and is therefore sometimes used in delicate tasting foods and drinks. Amber agave nectar has a medium-intensity caramel flavor, and is therefore used in foods and drinks with stronger flavors. Dark agave nectar has stronger caramel notes, and imparts a distinct flavor to dishes, such as some desserts, poultry, meat, and seafood dishes. Both amber and dark agave nectar are sometimes used "straight out of the bottle" as a topping for pancakes and waffles. Raw agave nectar also has a mild, neutral taste. It is produced at temperatures below 118 ?F (48 ?C) to protect the natural enzymes, so this variety is an appropriate sweetener for raw foodists.
