The complaints department at the Federation of Consumer Rights has been inundated with reports of fraudulent behaviour by many suppliers and manufacturers of CD-R Media. It seems that many companies are off-loading the rejects from the factory floor to unsuspecting purchasers packaging them as Grade A products. After advice was sought from the Independent Association of Media Components we have come to the conclusion that products sold under the price US$0.37 are in fact, unusable. Should you, as a purchaser, sell these Grade C products and then yourselves be reported to us, you will be prosecuted under the Federation of Consumer Rights act 1998. Conviction will take the form of a hefty fine or even a prison sentence.Fraud can carry a sentence of up to 25 years in prison.
Consumer fraud will not be tolerated in todays society.
