C-core transformer is manufactured using oriented silicon steel strip and is wound into rectangular shape after having anneal treatment ,bond and incision compaction process. C-core transformer can be classified into ED type and CD type. The C-core's bobbins can be wound with wires in advance before being fixed into the cores, which differs from R-core transformer. And this production process is suitable for making high voltage transformer.
