The blue agave plant grows wild in the dry Desolation Valley in South Africa and forms the basis of the agave spirit product.

Our agave plants are carefully cooked, pressed and fermented at controlled temperatures to extract all of the blue agave aromas before being triple distilled to produce a superior spirit that is a 100% blue agave spirit blend.

The Blue Agave Americana compares favourably in taste and is also a much larger plant and therefore produces a greater yield of agave juice per plant. Agave Distillers has the distinct benefit in that it is not forced to produce a “mixto” product since there are no raw material shortages in South Africa.
