Pacific Mental Company established as a joint venture with Hitachi Mental in Japan for technology and capital corporation by government's approval at the year of 1977.
Pacific Metals Co., Ltd. is the first general magnetic materials manufacturer in Korea. Pacific Metals produces not only Alnico cast and sintered magnets, Rare earth magnets and Ferrite(ceramic) magnets, but also Ferrite powder which is a raw material of Ferrite magnets.

As well recognized in the industry, magnetic materials are one of the essential materials widely used and applied in such products as electronic products, home appliances, automobiles, communication equipments, data processing devices and equipment measurement devices and so on.

Specifically, PMC got ISO-9001 by international quality system certification company -,SGS YARSLEY, through our endless R&D(research & development) and accumulation of technology as PMC's prior technology and unlimited responsible mind.
Also, PMC got QS-9000(required quality items from BIG 3 (Ford, Chrysler, GM) automobile manufacturer of United States.
Furthermore, all our members made an effort on environmental management with special concerns due to recently high rising serious environmental issues in the world. As the result of this, PMC got ISO-14001 by SGS.
