100 years old, with over 80 years of experience in the manufacture of milling machines. Formerly known as "Starrfrasmaschinen AG, Rigid Limited, La Rigide S.A., Swiss Rigid, Rigid Machine Tools" Starrag made the decision to change the name and the logo in 1998.
Since August 1st 1998, Starrag is the owner of "Heckert Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH" in Chemnitz, Germany which is now operated as a sister company. Starrag is known as a competent partner to solve complex machining and manufacturing problems in:-
