For ADSL physical layer:

·           Fast channel and interleave channel.

·           Line parameters testing: up and down channel rate, line attenuation, noise margin, transmitting power, and use rate of channel.

·           Performance analysis of line error and alarm:

-          Automatic detection and display of such alarms as signal loss, frame loss, power loss and cell loss etc. at proximal end and remote end.

Directly PING the website IP to local WAN to verify the connectivity of WAN link.

·           Instead of ADSL MODEM to test Internet wire speed and flow available for the user.

·           Simulated ISP logon instead of ADSL modem to check the operating performance of users’ terminal equipment.

·           PPPOE dialing can know the users’ dynamically distributed IP websites.

For ADSL line:

·          Digital multi-meter (DMM) test

Test AC/DC voltage, loop resistance, insulation resistance, capacitance, etc.

·           Subscriber telephone connectivity test

Built-in separator connected an external phone to verify the connectivity of user’s phone.

·           Estimate the distance of subscriber telephone wire.
