The Star X brand instrument is a hand-held carbon dioxide surgical laser instrument. It has a wide use in body surface disease. The unit is lighter weight, portable and extremely easy to use.

The system consists of a hand-held delivery gun and a separate power supply. The gun accepts probe attachments for skin department, gynecological oral and general surgery uses: for use specifically in the doctor's office, the star x operates on 220v ac and requires no external cooling. The star x outputs up to 10watts of power in a continuous wave mode.
